Festa Galattica is all about co-creation: what you help build, you also get to experience.
How it works
Two ways to join
You can volunteer either before and after the festival or during the festival itself.
That’s why we have two main volunteer roles: Setup and Support.
Setup
Setup volunteers
We usually gather about a week before the festival begins and stay 1–2 days after it ends. During this time, we work together to create the space that will welcome the tribe.
Main tasks include:
Preparing the “spaceship” kitchen
Cleaning and caring for the land
Building outdoor compost toilets
Setting up the Healing Zone
Preparing the tent area
Creating and maintaining signage
General maintenance
Final clean-up and wrap-up
Support
Festival support volunteers
During the festival, you’ll help take care of both the people and the spaces. Tasks vary and are organized in shifts.
Main tasks include:
Shifts in the vegetarian/vegan kitchen (“spaceship”)
Bar shifts for drink distribution
Photo/video documentation (fixed role)
Cleaning and tidying shared areas
Supporting activities and community care
